Can a fish be brought on a commercial airplane flight?

We have a small betta fish and will be moving across the country soon. We were wondering how (with all the security regulations that prohibit more than 8 oz of liquid past the checkpoints) could we fly the fish with us, if it’s even an option?

Hi Manny,
I think the best bet would be to contact a good pet shop and see how they normally ship fish. Probably UPS blue or red in a special leak proof well aerated container of some kind.
