all tropical fish need filtered and heatered fish, in fact, what fish doesnt? dont say a betta because those are just like other tropical fish too and need filtration and heating requirements.

why would you leave a tropical fish in cold water without filtration? that makes no sense....a filter, heater should only cost around 50 dollars, if you cant provide them these things, then you shouldnt own fish.

No, they will die.
What kind of fish are they? If they're little ones like tetra or guppies, you could look into a smaller five gallon tank, but nothing smaller than that. Really, I'd just leave them in the ten gallon.

youtube friend adder

Depends what type of tropical fish.

The majority of them need a lot of space to move around, and need to have a lot of surface area because surprisingly enough a ton of tropical fish actually breathe oxygen.

I wouldn't advise putting them in a bowl unless it was a fairly large one.

Web Hosting

They will def. die in a fish bowl. All fish need some sort of air supply in the tank for them. Plus they would need to have a nice heater for them since they're tropical. It would be a far better move to leave them in the 10 gallon tank.

Hide Folders

Just give them away if you think the 10 gallon is too big.
No fish deserves bowl life, especially one without a filter(you can do without an air pump, or "oxygen thing"). As they are tropical fish, they do need a heater. What exactly are the species, different species need different tank sizes.

no.. they need heat and filtration to live.... you could visit your local pet store and get a smaller tank with a heater and filter... that way they would be happy and the tank wont take up so much room.

Small Business Web Hosting

They will die in a bowl, it's a cold, small, inadequate place for ANY fish at all.

If you don't want a 10 gallon tank, or indeed any kind of proper fish tank, rehome the fish to someone who will care for them properly. Filters weren't invented for fun, they are ESSENTIAL for the survival of fish.
