My kids are from california and are under 16. Are they required to have a license to fish the colorado river do they need the special use colorado river stamp too? Thanks!

The golf courses at my country club close on Mondays, so I was going to sneak out there and fish in some of the lakes they have on the courses.

I KNOW they have those small fish (I think carp or bluegill, not sure), but I’m not sure what bigger fish they have.

I think that, if there are big fish, they could actually be big.

Here are my main questions:

What kind of fish do you think would be stocked in there?

How likely is it for me to catch ANY fish?

What kind of lures should I use?

Please add any advice or information!
I’ve already gotten permission from my Country Club.
Southeast. Atlanta to be specific.

My club is Cherokee Town & Country Club.

How much time is allowed between cleaning and refrigerating fresh catfish?
I was cleaning fish and kept getting interrupted, it ended up taking about 3 hours. The fish were killed as I cleaned them.
I was ditching the skin, guts, fins, and head outside on all the fish. Then I was deboning the fillets inside, washing each one very throughly first and putting the fillets in a bowl that had water being changed out pretty frequently.
Gonna be frying these tomorrow.
No bugs.

Just got a fish feeder to set up at my lake in Central Louisiana. Wanting to attract catfish, bream and crappie. But, not wanting to attract turtles, gar, and jack fish. What type is better: floating or sinking? Where can I buy it in like a 50 lb sack?

I am headed to Myrtle Beach for just a couple days… I am a freshwater fisherman but would really like to do some surf fishing while there. Normally I would want to target a certain type of fish but since my stay will be so short, I just want to catch some, any kind, of fish. What are my best odds?

Just wondering, if a lake is being privately stocked with “baby” fish, how long would it take for these particular fish to grow into the size the government has said they are ok to keep if you are fishing to keep them and not just practing catch & release?

I’ve watched several bass tournament shows and those guys catch a LOT of fish for competition. What happens to the fish afterwards? It’s not like I see a lot of fish specials in restaurants and supermarkets after the event.
