If they don’t have any other fish with them will they be stressed or upset? Thank you!
Thank you! Yeah I read that they rarely breed so maybe that is why. The thing is I read that they need like 20 gallons of water just for one and I can really only have a 10 gallon :/ They seem like such great fish but I don’t want to have one without a proper tank setup.

We had a parrot who lived alone for a few weeks… then we got him another parrot friend and eventually gave them both to a friend with a huge tank and all sorts of other friends… he seemed happier and more lively with friends…
just do your research on what kinds of fish to accompany him with… the guy at the store said we had a male and a female parrot… but they never made little parrots so maybe not… ??
Mine only grew bigger after we gave them to our friend with the big tank… i don’t know gallon size, but the tank we had was 2 feet by 1 foot and maybe a foot and a half high… him and the female lived in it for at least a year…. maybe longer i can’t remember now.
