Does anyone know what type of fish would do the best in a 10 gallon aquarium?

I have limited space but would love to have some fish. But I do want them to be happy living in only 10 gallons of water.

For me the best fish for a small tank are
endler livebearers
they stay small and have the best coloring of all the small fish.
With a dark background this guys literally light right up.
Get all males (so no kids) and you could get 10-12 of them easy.
they all stick together and are an easy happy fish to take care of.
If you can find pigmy cory cats they are by far the best for that size tank. These are my favs for any size tank. I have 20 of them in a 46 gallon.
You could get 5-6 as they aswell stay under an inch full grown and are very social with each other.
A golden honey gourami are very nice aswell
Ghost shrimp are a ton of fun.
Ember tetras would look nice aswell. When there young there clear and as they get older they bronze like a penny.
Or a combo….
For me a ten gallon would be…
1 golden honey
7 endlers or 8 ember tetras
5 pigmy cory cats
1 ghost shrimp
dark substrate and background to bring out there colors.
just be patient…don’t rush to stock a tank as most fish are seasonal at the pet store.
good luck!!!
