Sure, full of Omega-3. If you are eating it from a can just be careful not to drown it too much with mayo.

    yes

Sure but it should be fresh tuna….not canned.

    Yes it is ……

One portion should be oily and one should not.

    oily – mackerel, salmon
    non-oily – cod, tuna (?)

I think that yes there is no reason it should not count!

Omega 3 good for heart. but its all a fad, next they’ll be saying dont eat fish. i hear you can accumulate mercury in your body by eating too much. this is because the sea is polluted and the fish get full of mercury and then you get it.

dont fret too much about the guidelines. i go through stages of being obsessive healthy and then just gorging on junk;. still slim though!

    definitely!!!
all fish have omega 3 fatty acids.

and if you have canned fish it’s perfectly fine. Canned salmon is also good with the bones because it gives you calcium too.

Yes, that would be okay. Fresh salmon is always better though. Usually I only see canned tuna.

Yes, canned tuna counts as a fish serving. So does canned mackerel or salmon. Get the tuna that is packed in water, not in oil. Don’t overload it with mayo.

If you have a cat, save the liquid that you drain from water packed fish. Give this to your cat–they’ll love it and it keeps their coat from becoming too dry. There’s just enough oil in it to keep their skin healthy.
