How can i tell if my fish is pregant?

i have a red swordtail and it seems like it is pregant but i’m not for sure. i have not it the fish for maybe about a month.

    just keep wacthing her i had a pregnant fish before u needc to keep her in a separate tank if she is her stomach will look like a pouch that mean she is……

    Other than a big fat belly it’s kind of hard to tell in a red swordtail. The red covers up her gravid spot that you can see in light colored fish. If she has been in the tank with a male, even before you got her I would say it’s safe to assume she is pregnant.
