My dad gave me this great advice: put white, granulated sugar in a pan over a low heat until it starts to burn. I use a cast iron frying pan, get the sugar to the melting point, and it sweetens the air. Don’t get it too burning. It somehow removes all traces of fish smell.

I use vanilla extract on a rag to clean the fish smell out of the ice chest. Maybe wipe down the counter tops with van. ext. burn some vanilla candles. Good Luck.

Open your window and light as many candles as possible. Throw the garbage away and if you Oust spray it around the house. You’ll need some time to air out the house.. If you have an oscillating fans, place them around your kitchen to help the airflow.
