How long does it take to fish 1k lobs in runescape?

I am currently member and i am fishing lobsters at Catherby. My fishing level is 58, it took me 3 days to fish 1k lobsters here. ( with around 3 hours of gameplay each day) I learned recently that this is unusually long. How long SHOULD it take for me to fish 1k lobs?

Well it all depends. The higher your fishing level, the less time it takes to catch lobs. It all depends on the situation.

That’s actually pretty good, try shilo village, when you fish in the river, you get fish faster the higher your fishing level is, you must complete the quest shilo village to get into it.

well, it depends on how many ppl are there and your fishing level. with a low amount of ppl and if ur concentrated its should take around 4-9 hours with 58 fishing. I hope this helped

i’m at 70 fishing and it takes me 3 hours of straight playing to get 1k lobs.
so i’m guessing it’s going to take you 5 hours of playing time. remember to pay attention or it will take way longer. also, when you get higher i recommend using a fishing potion to get in the fishing guild which speeds up time. if your doing this to make money, remember there is faster ways to make 200k+ if your combat level is high enough, kill green dragons. collect the bones and hides and repeat. each trip is 50k and takes about 15 mins depending on your combat level. also you can try picking flax which is boring, but faster. if your doing this for fishing xp, fishing 1k lobsters at level 58 will get you to level 61. hope this helps :]
