How much fish is too much, especially when considering health problems due to mercury?

I enjoy a couple of fish based meals per week and am wondering now if the high mercury content could pose problems, short or long term. Also, does fish make a healthy meal in general and if so, why?

Fish are high in Omega 3 fatty acids and low in cholesterol. It is a healthy food. Some fish acquire more mercury than others. Simply avoid the types that tend to be high in mercury.
