Fish
I’ve really only eaten fish that I’ve caught myself- trout and perch, some catfish. I like all of those, especially pan fried. But I’d like to start eating fish for the health benefits. Any tips?

smoked salmon. it has both the most omega-3 of any fish and the lease mercury!!! some ppl say “smoked” isn’t good for you but whatever, i’d rather not *cook* fish.
just buy it and put it on a bagel or whole-grain bread in the AM or make it into a wrap for lunch. easy.

Water packed Albacore tuna is the easiest. But you can buy a filet either fresh or frozen, spread with soft butter, sprinkle with some seasonings of your choice and broil. Same filet, dust with seasoned flour and saute in butter. Give it a squeeze of lemon juice when done.

Check online to which fish has the lowest mercury. Some fish like swordfish or tuna has mercury, so you want to limit your intake. I love swordfish grilled on my little indoor grill. Serve with new potatoes boiled in chicken broth and California mix, steamed.
Or an orange roughy fillet would be good with lemon, butter and garlic over it and bake it. A nice rice pilaf and green beans to the side would be yummy.
