I have a five gallon tank, and I want to know which fish can thrive in a tank of this size.
I would like an interesting fish like bumblebee goby or a dwarf puffer. Are there any other fish like this that could like in a 5 gallon tank?

I would only suggest a single male betta for a five gallon tank. Filtered and heated of course.

A betta fish, guppies (only male), playtys, sword tails, and endler livebears thrive in 5 gallons. Must be filtered, and heated though

    BETTA (SIAMESE FIGHTING FISH)

needs a heater and a filter

A betta in a 5 gallon can look really good. You can also have shrimp and snails with him too. With the right aquascaping it can look great. This is mine.

Dwarf Puffers! They’re SO adorable, and they’re the exact kinds that I’m getting too.

How about some Microrasboras? These fish aren’t very common in aquatic stores however it it well worth the effort of seeking them out. These diminutive little fish only grow to around 2.5cm/1″ and a small group would make a lovely addition to your tank.
