I can’t get salmon down at all, I can eat halibut. But what is the mild white fish they use in fish tacos?

Cod is a delicious fish with not much of that “fishy” flavor. It is used quite a bit in America for good old fashion fish fries!

Try tilapia or orange roughy. They’re really mild; my brother hates fish, but he’ll eat those.

I’ve never tried halibut, but I suggest tuna.

Stick to white fish like cod, haddock, and tilapia. To mask the flavor, use seasonings.
Tilapia is easily masked by olive oil, garlic, and your favorite herb(s). You can even find these in microwaveable pouches for 2 minute convenience. I serve mine with microwaveable brown rice and mixed veggies.
Haddock works great with tarragon, lots of fresh lemon juice, butter/olive oil, and onions. Layer and bake.
Cod is good baked – this is your best bet for dinner when you dine out because it’s pretty expensive to buy in the store but very meaty in texture.
Tuna is also a good choice. I buy tuna that’s pre-flavored in a pouch because it’s a better quality tuna and, again, it mellows out the “fishy” taste.

Cod or haddock is probably the most mild. Cape hake is a white fish but is really fishy. I’d stick to cod, and then move on to haddock and sole xxx

Halibut is by far the best least fish-tasting fish you can buy, but it is around $22 per pound you could also try something like rockfish. yelloweye are a delicious rockfish that is also cheap.
