ahh no more! putting fish through the cycling process is very harsh on them. not to mention that the tank is already fully stocked.
neons are very sensitive to ammonia and nitrite levels and in most cases do not survive cycles.

DO NOT get a pleco whatsoever! whoever said that fish only grow according to what tank size they’re in were right, but in a horrible way. they will become stunted. that is when the fish’s body stops growing, but his internal organs keep growing, leading to death.

if you really want to add more life to your aquarium, AFTER the cycle, shrimp or snails would be the way to go. ghost shrimp add a negligible amount of bioload to a tank. i’ve heard anywhere from 10-20 ghost shrimp is equal to one small fish in bioload. best to stick with the smaller numbers if you’re not sure.

if the cory’s and neons make it through the process, they will be stressed out and very weak. and getting more fish and overstocking the tank would only lead to their deaths.
what you have now is a very good stocking list.
just keep doing daily, or twice daily water changes and watch the parameters closely.

you can really get any plants youd like to. check out aquahobby.com under the plant section to research which ones appeal to you. theres many online sites you can order live plants from, including liveaquaria.com.

get maybe like 4 or 5 fancy guppies and then use some plants like anarchis or look up some freshwater plant species. fancu guppies are great for small 10 gallon aquariums. or u could invest in one of those new glow in the dark fish. google “glofish”

your tank is crowded.

well there are tons of fish you could use in a ten gallon tank but since you have betta you should stick to semi-agressive comunity fish. these include tetra’s, gourami’s, other betta’s, dragon fish,etc. but bettas have been known to be able to live with peacful fish such as mollies, guppies, swordtails, tetras(small), etc. its your choice. good luck

if you are going to add more you need to wait till it is cycled as the more fish the higher the amonia i would keep an eye on the corys as they don,t have scales to protect them from the amonia when it peeks then goes down

DO NOT add a pleco as the above posters have suggested. 10g is not appropriate for a pleco. Don’t add any more fish either, you are fully stocked. I would suggest weekly cleanings and water changes as well because the levels of a 10g are very volatile.

You may choose fake or real plants, that’s really up to you. You can bury the base of the plants in the gravel and there you go.

The rule, is 1 gallon per fish,Not 1 inch per gallon.You have pretty much the ratio now.Good luck& enjoy.
I would add a plecostomus, to clean the glass from algae inside.

Your tank is pretty full. If you add another fish I would suggest a small Placostamus to keep your tank clean. They are very efficient and keeping it in a 10 Gallon tank will keep it small as well. Good luck with your tank. Even a 10 Gallon one will give you lots of entertainment.

l would add an algae eater and 2 black mollies.fish will grow according to their tank size.most likely in about a year you will have to go to a larger tank.but have fun with your fish as they can be quite soothing on the mind.
